Job Description

Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to manage our daily financial transactions and maintain accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, and be proficient in accounting software. This role is crucial to our financial health and provides essential support to our management team. Responsibilities: + Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process. + Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial accounts. + Manage accounts payable, including receiving, processing, and verifying invoices, and preparing payments. + Manage accounts receivable, including generating invoices, posting payments, and following up on outstanding balances. + Process payroll in a timely and accurate manner + Prepare and post journal entries for various transactions, including accruals, prepayments, and depreciation. + Maintain organized and accurate financial files and records. + Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures. + Generate financial reports, such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, as needed. + Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. + Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. + Perform other administrative and accounting duties as assigned. Requirements Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role. Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles (GAAP). Proficiency in QuickBooks Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite applications. Excellent data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively to meet deadlines. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
