Job Description

Job Summary: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Corporate Communications and Public Relations Coordinator to support our corporate communications and public relations efforts. The ideal candidate will assist in developing and executing communication strategies, manage media relations, and help maintain the company's positive image across various platforms. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Communication Strategies:
  • Assist in the development and execution of internal and external communications strategies that align with the company’s goals.
  • Contribute to the creation of content for press releases, newsletters, blog posts, and social media platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and content across all communication channels.
  • Media Relations:
  • Help build and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, and media outlets.
  • Assist in drafting and distributing press materials, including press releases and media alerts.
  • Monitor media coverage and track press mentions to evaluate the effectiveness of PR campaigns.
  • Internal Communications Support:
  • Support internal communication efforts by helping draft company-wide emails, updates, and newsletters.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth communication flow within the organization.
  • Assist with organizing internal events and employee engagement activities.
  • Event Coordination and Planning:
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating corporate events, press conferences, media briefings, and speaking engagements.
  • Provide logistical support for events, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Social Media and Content Creation:
  • Help manage the company’s social media presence, creating and scheduling posts that enhance brand visibility.
  • Assist in creating multimedia content (graphics, videos, etc.) for use across social media channels and corporate platforms.
  • Monitor social media platforms to identify trends, conversations, and potential PR opportunities.
  • Administrative Support:
  • Provide general administrative support including preparing materials and tracking project progress.
  • Maintain databases for media contacts, press clippings, and other PR-related documentation.
  • Analytics and Reporting:
  • Track the performance of PR campaigns and social media content, preparing regular reports on media coverage, engagement metrics, and overall effectiveness.
  • Assist in evaluating the success of communication initiatives and suggest improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor content for different audiences.
  • Experience with social media platforms, content creation, and digital communication tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with media relations and the ability to build and maintain media contacts.
  • A proactive, adaptable, and collaborative mindset.

Work Environment:

  • Office-based with some flexibility for remote work depending on company policy.
  • Occasional travel for events, conferences, and media engagements.
