Job Summary
Chartwells K12 is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Dining Services to lead food service operations for our long tenured relationship at Bullhead City Elementary School District in Arizona, serving approximately 2,400 students across six public elementary schools. Reporting to the Area Director, this role oversees a team of up to 23 dedicated Chartwells associates and an Assistant Director. The ideal candidate is a confident, hands-on leader who can seamlessly transition from leading daily in-unit operations to participating in strategic meetings with district leadership. High-level communication skills and the ability to adapt across diverse environments are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
+ Lead, mentor, and inspire our team of frontline associates and Assistant Director.
+ Drive critical initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and increase profitability.
+ Recruit, train, and develop top talent within the organization.
+ Oversees the annual budget and control costs.
+ Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and sanitation standards.
+ Build strong relationships with clients, customers, and associates.
+ Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient functioning of a dining service operation.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Associate's degree in Food Services/Management/Hospitality/Culinary/Nutrition.
+ Three plus years of foodservice management experience, prefers K12.
+ Knowledge of high-volume food production is preferred.
+ Previous P&L accountability or contract-managed services experience.
+ Outstanding leadership skills.
+ Catering experience preferred.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
+ Proficiency in computer skills.
