Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for an **Engineering Designer** . **Responsibilities** + Develops fire system designs, including fire sprinkler layout, pipe routing, hanger placement, hydraulic calculations, and other fire system design related tasks. + Performs the production of supporting documents, files, and services for fire system designs. + Assists in the selection of appropriate equipment and methods for incorporation into system design. + Analyzes building plans, project specifications, building type to identify design requirements. + Confirms the design criteria (hazard) required for the design. + Performs the hydraulic analysis and or technical calculations needed to complete design. + Participates in production tracking program as directed and administered by management. + Utilizes the best practices and requirements to optimize fabrication data. + Leads and teaches the adoption of cutting-edge software platforms and tools. **Qualifications** + Engineering design experience & certification preferred + 5 years of Fire Sprinkler design experience preferred + NICET Certification Preferred **\#li-remote** At Ferguson, we care for each other. The estimated pay range for this position is below.
