Title: IT Manager

Location: Albany, NY (Hybrid – 50% remote)
Rate: Depends on experience

Position Overview:
Project is part of the New York HBITS initiative supporting the NYS Medicaid Data Warehouse. The IT Manager will oversee project activities, coordinate teams, and support business intelligence and data management efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Manage IT projects using PMBOK and EPMO standards
• Develop project plans and documentation
• Oversee project execution and performance monitoring
• Conduct stakeholder communications and lessons learned sessions
• Lead business and data analysis
• Develop and revise technical specs, charts, and diagrams
• Validate system requirements and test outcomes
• Write and review SQL queries
• Assist with user training and change management
• Align solutions with healthcare and Medicaid priorities

Qualifications:

• 7+ years in IT project leadership within healthcare
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or related field
• 5+ years in software implementation and SDLC
• 5+ years with government IT systems (Medicaid/Medicare)
• 5+ years using reporting tools (Cognos/OBIEE)
• 5+ years of data mining and analysis
• 5+ years using Agile/Waterfall in formal PMO settings
