Job Summary:

  • Design laser workstation systems from concept to final checkout plus documentation.
  • Interact with Project Managers and Customer.
  • Lead Mechanical Engineer on low complexity projects.
  • Work cross functionally with Electrical/Software Engineers, Purchasing, and Manufacturing Technicians.


Essential Skills:

  • Design and detail of main system components and assemblies(sheet metal and frames, plates).
  • Entry level tooling design/fixturing (machined component design).
  • Implementation of GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
  • Proficient in the use of CAD Design (SolidWorks/other).
  • Design of pneumatic systems, schematics.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Effective communicator (written and oral).


Advanced Skills:

  • Optics and Vision design.
  • Structural and dynamic analysis. 
  • Experience in using CAD Management (SolidWorks EPDM).
  • Small part manipulation, alignment, and automation.
  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 2+ years experience. 
  • Proficient in the use of computer applications such as SolidWorks, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Ability to adhere to ethical principles that reflect the highest standards of organizational and individual behavior and comply with all laws and regulations.
