The role focuses on integrating cutting-edge technologies such as AI/ML, digital engineering, and Agile DevSecOps while fostering collaboration across military services, industry, and academia.

Key Responsibilities

Lead a modernization team overseeing 22 modernization initiatives conducted by FFRDCs.

Develop and manage modernization policies, guidance, and legislation to enhance engineering and T&E practices.

Create technical solutions to complex DoD challenges.

Build a community of practice across key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry leaders, and academic institutions.

Ensure alignment between Systems Engineering, Operational Test and Evaluation, and Test Resource Management initiatives.

Lead major technical projects using formal engineering principles and quality control measures.

Develop innovative approaches to assess technology, risk, performance, and capabilities.

Manage and coordinate project efforts across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

M.S. or Ph.D. in an engineering discipline or related field.

20+ years of experience in relevant engineering and technical leadership roles.

Strong ability to drive innovation and implement forward-thinking solutions.

Strategic vision with the capability to align stakeholders and drive organizational goals.

Expertise in optimizing processes and enhancing organizational efficiency.

Proven track record of setting ambitious goals and delivering impactful results.

Security Clearance

Active Secret clearance required, with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
