Job Description:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in the following capabilities:

• Collaborating with management and development teams to understand user and system requirements.
• Designing, developing, and implementing testing plans for simple/complex software components based on technical requirements.
• Creating and applying metrics to track system reliability, scalability, and performance. Diagnosing and debugging failures uncovered during testing.
• Maintaining records of test progress, documenting test results, preparing, and presenting results.
• Assisting with the implementation of the Rational Unified Process to software development testing.
• Creating or customizing automated testing tasks using available Rational Functional Tester.
• Communicating status of the software testing to management.

Must be proficient in Visual Basic or VBScript or other scripting languages. Experience working with relational databases and SQL queries is required. Experience with automated test tools and Team Foundation Server is required. Bachelor's degree required, Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree preferred.
