Job Description

Our client, a manufacturing and distribution company is seeking an innovative and growth-oriented Chief Marketing Officer to coordinate marketing campaigns, strategies, and initiatives to strengthen and advance the sales, marketing development and business objectives of the company.

The ideal candidate is responsible for adapting overall marketing activities and operations and must supervise the implementation of the business’ advertising, social media marketing, promotions, PR, and other activities while providing a high level of visibility into underlying sales metrics.

Responsibilities:

• Complete ownership of the marketing efforts and strategy across all business channels, paid and organic marketing, manage talented marketing team, and lead growth for new user acquisition, conversion, and brand awareness
• Design marketing strategies through the market and competitive analysis, customer segment selection, and penetration plans that support business growth and enhance brand equity
• Manage the entire marketing team and work closely in planning social media engagement, digital and print advertisements, Trade shows, including TV and billboards marketing
• Conduct market scanning and prepare action plans to counter competitive activities and implement new marketing concepts to improve communications delivery in advertising and promotional campaigns to increase awareness
• Oversee the execution of paid and organic campaigns, gather data or reports and analyze the results and advise on how to increase performance
• Manage the marketing budget and allocate resources, including the development and management of monthly, quarterly, and annual marketing budgets

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of solid experience as a chief marketing officer with a proven experience in developing efficient strategies and business plans for all marketing aspects (traditional, digital marketing, and market research methods)
• Extensive knowledge in a sales and marketing-related role with excellent sales/marketing techniques, research, and analysis skills to derive actionable insights to interpret data and campaigns to increase sales
• Experience with ensuring and maintaining consistent brand messaging by utilizing social media platforms and advertisements to engage with prospective customers and clients
• Must be able to handle a creative team and conduct coaching, mentoring, and developing their creativity and innovative ideas to achieve their full potential
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate clearly with various internal departments, including vendors, contractors, and advertising companies
• Strong work ethic and leadership performance abilities to thrive and multitask at scale in a dynamic and detail-oriented environment
